How to Send and Receive Wire Transfers
With Your PNWFCU Account

PNWFCU members can send or receive funds electronically through domestic and international wire transfers. Read the instructions below for details, and refer to our service charges for the current wire transfer fees.
Note: Be sure you have the correct wire instructions before sending a wire. Please contact the receiving financial institution for their specific wire instructions, as PNWFCU does not have this information.
Outgoing Domestic Wire Transfers
There are three ways to set up a domestic wire transfer:
- Visit a PNWFCU branch.
- Call 503-256-5858.
- Or log into online banking and click Secure Forms > Domestic Wire Transfer Request.
You will need the following information to make a transfer:
- Receiving institution ABA #
- Receiving institution name
- Receiving institution city and state
- Further credit to name (if applicable)
- Further credit to branch account # (if applicable)
- Recipient final credit to (individual or company) name
- Recipient final credit to street address, city, state and ZIP
- Recipient final credit to account #
- Payment instructions (optional)

Cut-Off Time for Outgoing Domestic Wire Transfers
Wire processing cut-off time is 1:30 p.m. on business days Monday – Friday. Requests received after cut-off will be processed the next business day.
Requests received online after 11:00 a.m. may not go out the same day. For immediate requests, please contact us at 503-256-5858 or visit a branch.
Outgoing International Wire Transfers
International wire transfers must be completed in-person at a branch. Make sure you have the following information before requesting an international wire transfer.
- Bank Identifier Code (BIC), also known as SWIFT code
- Receiving wire to institution name
- Receiving institution street address, city/town and state/province
- Further credit to (branch name only)
- Final credit to (individual or company) name
- Address of beneficiary or final credit recipient
- Country
- International Banking Account Number (IBAN)
- Beneficiary account #
- Reason for wire
- Payment instructions sender to receiver (optional)
Cut-Off Time for Outgoing International Wire Transfers
Wire processing cut-off time is 11:30 a.m. on business days Monday – Friday. Requests received after cut-off will be processed the next business day.
Incoming Wire Transfers
To ensure funds properly credit your account, please use the instructions below when funds are being sent to your PNWFCU account via wire.
- Wire To ABA: 244084264
- Wire To Institution: Corporate One Federal Credit Union
- Wire To City/State: Columbus, OH 43240
- Further Credit To: Pacific NW Federal Credit Union
- Further Credit To Account Number: 323075754
- Final Credit To: [Insert Member Name]
- Final Credit To Account #: [Insert Membership #]
- Payment Instructions should include final sub-account destination for funds, i.e. checking, savings, loan, etc.
Note: PNWFCU does not have a SWIFT code, which is an international bank’s version of the ABA routing number. Please use the ABA number in the Incoming Wire Instructions.

Wire Transfer FAQs
How long does it take for my outgoing wire to be transferred?
Domestic and international wire transfers are typically sent the same day of request. See cut-off times above.
Note: We will not know exactly when the receiving account is credited the wire transfer funds. It depends on the beneficiary financial institution’s processing times for incoming wires. Please call us at 503-256-5858 if you have any questions.
When will I receive my incoming wire to my PNWFCU account?
Funds from an incoming wire transfer will be available on the same business day that we receive your deposit. Special rules for new accounts may apply. Learn more:
Is there a fee for incoming wire transfers?

Is there a fee for outgoing wire transfers?
Yes, refer to our service charges for details.
Can I send outgoing domestic wire transfers from online banking?
Yes, log into online banking (not the mobile app) and click Secure Forms > Domestic Wire Transfer Request.
Can I email wire transfer requests?
No. International wire transfers must be completed in-person at a branch. Domestic wire transfers can be completed at a branch, over the phone or in online banking.
What is a SWIFT code?
PNWFCU does not have a SWIFT code, which is an international bank’s version of the ABA routing number. Please use the ABA number in the Incoming Wire Instructions.
Remember, do not give your online username or password to anyone. Do not wire funds to anyone who overpays you for something, especially online, or to anyone who sends you a check or money order and then cancels the deal, asking you to cash the check and wire them the money. This is a scam.
